Who looks after Melcor's Golf Course and the Common Property?

The initial developer of Black Mountain Residential Area and Golf Course was Marlin Weninger of Weninger Construction & Design Ltd.  The site construction manager at the time was Barry Skabar, who, continues today serving as the Golf Club Superintendent.

During construction of the back nine alone of the Golf Course, Barry and his crew relocated 150,000 cubic meters of blast rock and 200,000 cubic meters of clay and topsoil.  That's a lot of rock and soil!

Currently, the maintenance mandate of Barry and his crew is to provide a pleasurable and memorable golf experience on the golf course and maintain the subdivision grounds at a similar level. The maintenance crew is working to have the overall look of the property at the same standards as the golf course.  Ongoing clean up of construction areas is taking place as well as improvement of the standard of landscaping in the community common grounds.

The goal of Barry and his crew is to provide homeowners and residents with a community where a "walk in the park" is in their back yard.  This kind of maintenance package is unparalleled in the Valley.
